I'm not quite done being awed by DOK, and now the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library Children’s Library has entranced me. It's not likely I'll ever get to see DOK firsthand, but Toledo is between me and family, making a visit not out of the question.
I've been very fortunate to work in two newly renovated, beautiful libraries, with large children's departments and healthy budgets. And wonderful service can be provided at tiny libraries with vanishing funds. But don't we all long for improvement?
