Ooh, teenreads.com reminded me that a few excellent books are just out this month.

Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin was such a beautifully written book it made me rush right out and read Elsewhere. (I had previously neglected this book because the cover was all too similar to Are We There Yet? by David Levithan and part of my brain thought I'd already read it.)

Speaking of David Levithan, his second collaboration with Rachel Cohn, Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List should also be in a bookstore (or library) near you.

Two books with Naomis. I may have to read The Margarets and Margarettown next. Just to keep with the trend.

Elsewhere is one of my favorite books. I listened to the audio version and had to pull over at one point, imagining my dog reunited with my grandmother (who had just passed away...our dog used to love to sit at her feet all day long). And the terms "two-leggers" and "Four-leggers" are now commonly used in our house to describe our battles with the cats. Now I have to go check out Memoirs.
